I graduated with a bachelor's in materials science from the University of Pennsylvania, and earned a PhD in the same discipline from the University of Delaware. I also added a minor in Chinese language and culture. Learning has been a lifelong passion of mine, especially in the science arena, and I continued my education to reach a very high degree level. To that end, I have sought consistent opportunities to give back through tutoring and teaching. I have extensive experience tutoring a wide range of subjects to students from grades one through 12, and am skilled at subjects including algebra, calculus, geometry, chemistry, physics, Mandarin Chinese, reading, SAT and ACT math, science, advanced placement calculus and science courses, English, standardized test preparation, GRE courses, and others. I have tutored students of many skill levels and learning abilities and I bring enduring patience and a knack for relating well to each student to bring out their best and help them reach their academic goals.
